iPhoneDevCamp Auckland October
iPhoneDevCamp Auckland went off without any casualties (again) on Friday night at Cactuslab towers. Fueled by Long Island Ice Teas, we coded and chatted for two hours before heading off to a Japanese dinner. In attendance were @sponno, @regen, @nzben, @tarlen, @sneak, @matthewbuchanan, @matarua and myself @avon. It looks like these are approximately monthly; if you’re in town get in touch. Next time we’ll have more snacks.

Seconded. Regular, short DevCamps are a good way to keep the momentum up, and allow for those AlAnon admission moments: “Hi, my name is Ben and I haven’t opened Xcode for 3 weeks”.
Unsure about the choice of beverage though. There is a fine line between lubrication and jello-brain.

Agreed; I bravely released 1.4 of Mobile Fotos after a few though. Mind you I made some enhancements in the weekend that just had to be seen so I rejected the binary - it’s like it’s the future.

I didn’t partake of the Iced Teas, and I got a fair bit done. It probably was related.

There’s a serious danger of them becoming Galcon LAN events… dangerous.
